Sublative Rejuvenation was introduced in 2009. This treatment was introduced after fractionated laser therapies. Fractional treatments are aggressive treatments that require weeks of downtime and are not recommended for                             all skin types.Sublative Rejuvenation is a unique treatment because it's the first to combine the results you can get with aggressive treatments - with no downtime and is effective for ALL skin types. The secret to Sublative Rejuvenation is the energy used and how the energy is delivered through the skin.                        

The laser is delivered below the skin without overheating the top layer of the skin. This has been the challenge with other more aggressive treatments because they work by overheating the top layer of the skin to the point of complete removal, forcing new skin to develop.  Sublative Rejuvenation uses fractioned bi-polar radio frequency to penetrate through the skin-sending more energy beneath the surface of the skin to really maximize collagen production-while keeping the top layer of the skin intact (taken from sublativeskin.com).

Generally it takes between 3 and 5 treatments to get your desired result. Your skin care therapist will work closely with you to make sure you are getting the best results possible.  Each appointment will be approximately 20 minutes and topical numbing cream may be applied to minimize discomfort.
