LATISSE®

LATISSE® — the first and only FDA-approved prescription treatment for hypotrichosis used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, thicker, and darker. Eyelash hypotrichosis is another name for having inadequate or not enough eyelashes. LATISSE® is believed to prolong the active growth phase of the lashes. The exact way it works is unknown. The onset of effect with LATISSE® solution is gradual. In the clinical trial, the majority of users saw significant improvement by 2 months. In order to receive a prescription for LATISSE®, a short consultation with Dr. Kjar is required. Following the consultation, the patient will fill the LATISSE® prescription at most local pharmacies. The prescription should last approximately 30 days and may be refilled 3 times per prescription.
