Each year Operation Smile volunteers repair childhood facial deformities while building public and private partnerships that advocate sustainable healthcare systems for children and families.  Operation Smile strives to create smiles, change lives and heal humanity.

Dr. J. Gregory Kjar has been volunteering his time and talents to Operation Smile for over 20 years.  Dr. Kjar served as the Utah Chapter President from 1990 – 2000 and is currently a member of the Utah Chapter Board.  Dr. Kjar, with his wife and family , have travelled to the Philippines, Honduras, Brazil, Peru, Romania, and Kenya helping aid in Operation Smile missions.  Dr. Kjar has also helped children locally (see video above).
